"All reading and writing works" that is right exactly. Similar as: "drinking water" people isn't used "water of drinking" ever.

In English, Gerund (verbal noun) and Present participle were constructed similar by "Verb + Ing", but usages them are separated to different.
_Verbal noun: use like a noun, called "Gerund"
_Present participle: use like a adjective.
    Gerund: sitting-room, drinking-water
Do you recollect (my) telling you about that beautiful lady? hihi..hi:))

Hey, Mr. Saifu. I'd like to comment to your statement.  I hope you will regard this as useful. No, I'm not making a version of my own. This is only the simplest  rectification I could share with you. Here it goes:  Yesterday morning, I checked over a patient at my clinic (I am a homeopathic doctor!).  In the afternoon, I drunk tea, which I usually do after working hours.

Mr. Saifu, the question calls for the past tense of the verb. Take note that it asked what one did the day before-- in the morning and afternoon.  So the verb should be in the simple past tense.  Therefore, "drank" is correct, not "drink".  Drunk, which I used in my comment, is already past participle of the verb.  Sorry, my mistake.

Sorry to say that no care has been taken regarding tenses. you were asked the question "what did you do in the morning yesterday?" and the answered was given perfect tense. Onething must be kept in mind while speaking or writing that is "what are you to say and how to say in the end in which tense the conversation is being done." These things are very important for making your adressee understand every bit of the language. You've written every sentence in perfect tense while the questions were asked in past tense. So i think if you want to improve yoursef must take care of the tenses. Good luck

I think the first sentence should be "I checked a patient yesterday morning",and then "work" be "worked","do" be "did","have taken" be "took".You know, you should keep your sentence in correct tense
    .
