Italy is famous over the world for food. The more known dishes are pastas, lasagne and tiramisù. I love tiramisù and it is easy to make at home on your own. Here is the recipe: Ingredients: 3 cups of strong black coffee, preferably espresso, cooled 3 tbsp caster sugar 6 tbsp Amaretto liqueur 2 eggs, separated 250g/8¾oz mascarpone cheese 250ml/8¾ fl oz whipped cream cocoa powder, to dust 1 packet of Savoiardi (sponge lady finger biscuits) Place the cold coffee in a bowl, add three tablespoons of the Amaretto. Beat together the egg yolks and sugar. Add the mascarpone and beat until well mixed. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Fold the egg whites into the cream mixture. Add the remaining liqueur. Dip each biscuit into the coffee liqueur mixture Cover the bottom of dessert glasses. Spread some of the cream mixture over the biscuits and then repeat the process again, using up the biscuits and finishing with a cream layer. Smooth the surface and dust the top with the cocoa powder.

That sounds delicious. I'll have  to try your recipe. Your writing is very easily understood. I would agree with zarig about the phrase "better known" instead of "more known". The first sentence could also be written "Italy is famous all over the world for it's food". Most native speakers would word it that way. It really depends on your audience, whether you are speaking to an average person or writing an article for a magazine. zarig's version certainly demonstrates a strong vocabulary and would be more appropriate for formal writing.
