Describe your last vacation. Where was the last place you vacationed? What activities and sites do you recommend for other vacationers?

La dernière fois que je suis allé en vacances, je suis parti à Vancouver, au Canada. J’ai un ami qui y habite, alors j’ai passé mes vacances chez lui. Il faisait beau, alors nous sommes allés à la plage pour bronzer et nous nous sommes baignés dans l’océan. Nous avons visité le musée d’art sur centre-ville et mangé pas mal de sushi. Si vous avez l’opportunité de visiter Vancouver, je vous conseille d’y aller quand il fait beau. Je dis cela parce qu’en plein centre-ville il y a un énorme parc, Stanley Park, qui a des chemins de randonnée, des plages, une piscine, et plein d’autres choses à faire. Il y a aussi le « Sea Wall » qui est une piste cyclable au bord de la mer qui parcourt tout le long de la ville.

    The last time I went on vacation, I went to Vancouver, Canada.  I have a friend who lives there, so I stayed with him.  The weather was great, so we went to the beach to tan and swim in the ocean.  We also went to the art museum downtown and ate quite a bit of sushi.

    If you have the opportunity to visit Vancouver, I suggest going when the weather is nice.  I say that, because right in downtown Vancouver there is an enormous park – Stanley Park – which has hiking trails, beaches, a pool, and plenty of other things to do.  There is also the Sea Wall, which is a bike trail next to the beach that runs the entire length of the city.
